All participants are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract in order to present their recent results either by flash presentations or posters.

Abstract must be submitted by e-mail to abstract@nano-electrochem.org before July 1st, 2011. The abstract should explicitly mention goals, new results, and conclusions or significance of the work. The authors should specify their preference for an flash presentation or a poster. Note that when an abstract selected for a flash presentation, the authors must also present a corresponding poster.

Abstract recommendations

The following instructions of the abstract preparation apply:
› Abstracts should be of 1 page, including figures
› Page size A4 (210 x 297 mm)
› Font: Arial
› All margins: 2.5 cm
› Title: 14 pt, bold, centred, single spaced
› Author name(s): 12 pt, centred, single spaced (presenting author underlined)
› Author(s) affiliation(s): 12 pt, italic, centered, single spaced (each affiliation on one single line)
› Body text: 12 pt, justified, single spaced
› Simple equations can be inlined
› Figures can be inserted
› References, whithin the text, should be numbered consecutively using the a superscript numbers
› List of references is placed at the end of the text: numbered, 8 pt, left aligned, 0.25 cm left tabulation

Presentation recommandations

The flash presentations will be 5 minutes long + 1 minute for questions.

The following equipment will be present:
› Laptops with Windows or Mac OS. MS-PowerPoint and Adobe Reader will be installed. The computer will be equipped with an optical drive and USB flash memory connector.
› A digital projector with a VGA connector.
› Speakers can also bring their own laptop computer.

All speakers are invited to show up before their session to the chairman in order to test the talk.

Poster recommandations

The recommended size for a poster is A0 (841 × 1189 mm). It is mandatory that one of the authors is present at the poster session, to ensure that discussions about the presentation can be held with other participants. It is strongly recommended to use readable font size.
